December 2, 2005 17:42 - Twas the Night Before Murder

Twas the Night Before Murder is a new Christmas murder mystery game that has just been released by Mysteries-on-the-Net.

The mansion of greeting-card magnate Norton Pole was lit up like a Christmas tree. And, well it should be on the eve before the annual holiday. The festive occasion was a gathering of a few relatives and business associates, all celebrating another year of record profits (or is it?) for Polar Cards.

The assembled group knew everything that could be known about Pole, from north to south, and from east to west. What they didn't know was that, over dinner, Pole would make an announcement that could change their holiday seasons forever. At least, it could've had not someone decided to take fate to task and end Pole's career permanently.

For, on Christmas morning, his body was found lying under the huge tree in the great room...

As with their other mysteries, Twas the Night Before Murder features a handful of suspects (eight this time) and lots of sleuths. Each of the suspects has a detailed character background - and it's the job of the Christmas sleuths to pick through the truths, lies and half-lies to solve the mystery and identify the murderer.

December 19, 2005 18:41 - Free Murder Mystery Games

I get quite a few requests from people looking for free murder mystery games - and unfortunately I usually leave them disappointed. To try and stem the flow of requests, I've added a page to Great Murder Mystery Games discussing the whys and hows of how much the games cost.

I've also explained how you can get a murder mystery game for "free". (I've put free in inverted commas because there's no such thing as a free lunch.)
