I hope you all had a great Halloween - mine was sadly lacking in parties, but we did provide lots of candy for the local kids.
Unfortunately, this newsletter is at the mercy of bad timing. Two new games were released in October with great Halloween themes, and while I covered them in the News Blog (click here to read more about that!), I only send this out at the beginning of the month, unfortunately.
I wouldn't be happy organising a murder mystery party from scratch in under two weeks, anyway, so perhaps that's for the best.

Evil Never Dies - a brand new Halloween murder mystery
Mysteries-on-the-Net have just released a new Halloween murder mystery party game - Evil Never Dies.
He was called Evil-Eyed Emil. When he looked at people with his infamous right eye, so the story went, bad things invariably happened. Townspeople cringed and covered their faces as Emil came near, not daring to look directly into his ominous orb. And, as he was being driven out of Reaper Junction on Halloween night exactly 100 years ago, Emil vowed to return one day to wreak his vengeance on the mob and its progeny for the way he had been so rudely tossed out....
As with all their mysteries, Evil Never Dies features a few suspects (six in this case) and lots of sleuths. Each of the suspects has a detailed character background - and it's the job of the Halloween sleuths to pick through the truths, lies and half-lies to solve the mystery and identify the murderer.

The Immortal Murders
Dinner and a Murder Mystery Games have just released The Immortal Murders - a supernatural murder mystery party ideal for Halloween...
It is the Immortals Annual Costume Ball, filled with vampyrs, mages, fairies, were-creatures and watchers - and murder.
The Immortal Murders is a little different from Dinner and a Murder Mystery Games other parties in that it includes weapon cards and spells - and the guests can choose who they murder!
With mages, vampyrs and the like The Immortal Murders looks like a great idea for Halloween - although with just over two weeks to go, I would have preferred a little more time. Still, there's no reason to hold the game on Halloween only - you could hold it any time of the year!
Tips for finding the perfect venue for your murder mystery party
Where you choose to host your murder mystery party can have a big effect its success - or failure. While you are busy organising guests and sorting out the game, it can be easy to forget some of the other, perhaps more mundane, aspects of hosting a party - such as where you're going to host it.
