Hi - and welcome to issue #43 of Guilty Parties, the murder mystery party newsletter.

This month I have details of a new game - and some very pleased customes.

"I couldn't stop giggling..."

From Swamphag's Life after Death blog:

"A little over a week ago I was able to participate in one of those murder mystery dinner parties, in costume and in character. It wasn't one of those scripted ones so it could go in all sorts of directions depending on who you talked to, how you discovered and imparted info, what secrets you divulged, etc. In our case there were 19 people (I think) and boy! it turned out to be FUN!"

In this case the game was Freeform Games' Curse of the Pharaoh - click here to read the rest of the blog.

The Colorful Case of the Swiped Sunflowers - New kids' mystery

Mysteries on the Net have just released a new kid's mystery - The Colorful Case of the Swiped Sunflowers.

Here's some of the background...

Clodhopper’s Greenhouse is the only greenhouse in the small town of Beulah Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Clodhopper, the proud owners, have operated it since the day they were married 50 years ago. Everyone in town loves gardening. In Beulah Falls, it’s more than a hobby - it’s a competitive sport! Things are usually friendly among the gardeners—but not always...

The Colourful Case of the Swiped Sunflowers is for 8-24 kids. 8 kids are suspects (four boys and four girls) and everyone else helps solve the mystery.

"Perfect..."

Debbie writes:

"The Cudham Riding Club, was the first Murder Mystery Dinner that I have done. It was perfect in everyway! Expecially since we were holding it at the barn. We had over 35 people show and it was talked about for weeks after. That was last year 2006. It was so much fun everyone asked when we were going to do it again! This year in May 2007 we will be doing "The Auction". I have a few more weeks to go and I already have more sign-ups than characters. It is great fun! Thank you."

And that's about it - thanks for reading!
