A group of golfing women are going to gather October 8th for their annual award dinner - Which mystery do we choose?

We are lucky enough to have a real movie star who will act as host to our party, and he seemed to favor Death on the Gambia - but we both didn't see the introductory pdf when I printed the other material. That is when I discovered it was set in WWII and think it seems out of character for our all-women group. Liked the exotic location. We want to be 'somewhere else' during our play.
I don't want to do a golfing mystery - too familiar - something exotic - something that allows for all guests to dress up in a character even tho they won't all have a part.
I looked at Dazzled to Death - like the setting in a hunting lodge in Boston during a storm.
Any help you can provide will be most appreciated.
My response:
Hi - I think the big problem you have with Dazzled to Death is that it's not a big enough game as it only caters for up to 14 guests. You will need something bigger!
You'll also need something that caters for a lot of people - you'll have over 40 people playing, most of them women. That rules out the interactive games - few of them are that size and those that are, have an even mix of male/female roles.
I suggest either one of the Mysteries-on-the-Net games, or one of the Merri Mysteries games. Both companies have games that will cater for your size group, although they have different styles of play, so you'll need to review them both before deciding which is most suitable.
