Adapting an existing game to suit up to 150 players

I am a member of our organisation's social club. As a mid year function we would like to have a murder mystery evening and are expecting up to 150 people. I have noticed that you only have one game that caters up to 200 people. We didn't particularly like the theme of this game - set in a boarding school as it didn't provide much scope for dressing up. The people in our org love to dress up and we felt with the boarding school theme there would simply be loads of people dressed in school uniforms. Is there any way you could adapt another theme to cater for 100+ players and then we could purchase the extra character packs to make up to 150 characters?
My response:Sorry, I'm unable to adapt any of the games or write extra characters (let alone over 100!).
However, if you don't mind a non-interactive game,
Mysteries-on-the-Net have
Death in Them Thar Hills, a Western. The large format version caters for over 100 players.
