Doctors Bag Question - Lei'd to Rest

If the doctor - Penny Kingsbury should die, or the doctor bag stolen - does the new owner of the bag inherit the ability to heal? Can Penny heal without the bag?

I promise I am reading all of the information, It is just a lot to take in.

My response:

I have no problem answering questions - particularly when they're ones I can answer...

In the case of the doctor's bag, no, another character doesn't get the ability to heal. (In much the same way as if you gave me a doctor's bag, I wouldn't be able to make any use of it.)

Can Penny heal without her bag? If her ability says that she needs the bag to heal another character, then if she hasn't got it she can't use the ability. (I don't have the game in front of me as I type this, so I can't be specific.)

Hi Mike,

Yes, Penny does require the bag in order to heal people -- without it, her ability doesn't work. We need to amend the ability card to make that clear! And, as Steve says, no-one else can use the bag to heal -- only Penny can.
