I need help choosing!
by Kylie
I'm a 12 year old girl who is planning a murder mystery party for my 13th birthday in November. Both myself and my guests are pretty tomboyish and dramatic, so a murder at the spa or non-murder just won't cut it. The party will most likely be mostly girls and about 12 guests, including myself. I would like to participate also, although I am the host.
Minimal references to affairs, alcohol and drugs are fine, as long as nobody's playing, say, a prostitute or drug dealer. My mom is concerned about appropriateness for all attendees, who are my age. But I still want to have it be complex, a bit challenging, and above all, memorable and fun. We're all pretty smart. Thanks for your help!
My response:
By the sounds of it, most of the games on my site would suit your group - particularly those by Freeform Games or Dinner and a Murder.
"Mostly female" can be a bit of a problem as most of the games have a number of male parts. That doesn't have to be a problem if you have friends who don't mind crossdressing.
If you do run one of these games, I recommend having a separate host who can "host" it for you. (You'll need one for the Freeform Games and I recommend one, although it's not essential, for the Dinner and a Murder Games.
I hope that helps!
