Murder at the Four Deuces

I have done a few murder mystery parties before so I know how great these type of parties are. Well the unscripted ones anyway. I've only done one scripted and it wasn't fun.
This time I decided to play Murder at the Four Deuces because I liked how the author incorporates "action cards" into her games.
Most everyone I had at this party was at my first one the previous Halloween. (This one was done as a graduation going away party). They were a lot more comfortable acting and a lot more devious in getting information -- and especially after the action cards! The action cards were a riot!
Pretty much by the end of the game -- all of the Dons AND The Inspector were killed! The INSPECTOR!! Haha... I was told -- and I quote -- "he had too much information on me"!
I really do love these types of parties. They're a great way of getting people to mingle and see everyone "play pretend" like we're five years old again.
One tip I learned was for "dinner" sections do a pot luck. Have guests bring food/drink items. It saves money and time.
