These murder mystery games and puzzles are all available online over the internet. They're not party games like the rest of the site, but if you're a big fan of murder mysteries then you should find something to please you.
Sleuth
Sleuth is an open-ended detective RPG where you solve mysteries by searching for clues, questioning suspects and interviewing witnesses. Each mystery is randomly generated and the levels range from Easy to Almost Impossible cases.
Sleuth comes in two formats: Sleuth Noir is text based and interactive while Sleuth: Shades of Mystery is a point-and-click type of game. In both cases the mysteries are open ended and can be solved in multiple ways.

Who
murdered Marilyn Spencer? is a free online murder mystery
produced by the BBC and with an introduction by Inspector Morse
writer, Colin Dexter.
The game consists of short video clips of all the suspects, and a number of clues. (I struggled a bit to see some of the videos, but there are links to transcripts of everything.) And I have to say that the final conclusion could be a bit more theatrical - but I always liked those Poirot-style denouments at the end of a good Agatha Christie.

Stickman murder mysteries
Stickman murder mysteries are free point-and-click mystery puzzles using cartoony graphics and set in the city of Stickville. There are (as I write) five mysteries - the first one took me about fifteen minutes to work my way through.
In the mysteries you get to travel to different locations - such as visit the morgue and check out the murder victims. There are also sound effects, and a few jokes.

Mystery at Mansfield Manor is an interactive online movie. You take on the role of Detective Frank Mitchell and have until midnight to solve the murder case. There is a small charge to play the game.
