Party supplies

Of course, purchasing one of the party games here is only one element of hosting a successful murder party. As well as the game itself, you need to think about food, drinks, the venue, costumes - and party supplies.

Don't worry if it all seems overwhelming though - click here for hints and tips for hosting your murder party. Here, though, I'm going to talk about party supplies.

By party supplies, I mean all the bits and bobs that help set the theme and that you can use to dress your venue. Things like themed napkins, simple props and cardboard scenery.

Of course, you need your party supplies to suit the theme of your party! So for a Western party (such as Way out West by Freeform Games) you might want a cardboard cactus, or cowboy hats. For a nautical party (Death on the Gambia, or All at Sea) you might be looking for a Captain's hat or an anchor.

A quick caveat though - you may find that your spending on party supplies is considerably more than on the original game!
