I have 2 questions. Does "free-form" have any games that could be played by all-women? If so, what type of innuendo is involved?

I have a group of 15-25 ladies between the ages of 30-65 that will be attending. We are open-minded but a conservative group.

The only "freeform/interactive" all-women game that I'm aware of is Death by Chocolate. However, it's for 8-16 women (plus a handful of optional men) so it's very likely that it will be too small for your group.

(As a man myself, it's not a game I've investigated too deeply, so I'm afraid I can't say how much innuendo is involved.)

If that's no good, and you're prepared to be a bit adventurous, you could have some of the women play male roles (click here to read more on doing that).

I'm sure I came across an interacting game for 12 women - it was a reunion of a girls' school - not the Death by Chocolate one. But now I can't find it anywhere - any ideas? xx

I have 6 females and I would love to host for the first time a murder mystery dinner at my house. Maybe a Vegas theme.

All-female games are something of a niche market, so I'm afraid there isn't much of a selection. Here are the games I'm aware of:

Death by Chocolate - for 8-16 women.

Death Bemoans Her - for 10 to 100 people (!)

Merri Mysteries have several all-female games (although I haven't listed them all on my site), but the smallest number they cater for is 8 players.

Sorry, I can't find a game for only 6 women.

Bridal Shower Murder Myster Party

Hello, I'm planning to host a bridal shower for 22 woman and for years we've all wanted to do a murder mystery party and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity! Is there a particular theme/mystery that you could recommend that wouldn't include any male characters? I could probably get one or maybe 2 of the girls to play men but I'd prefer to stick to an all female character list if possible. I was hoping to find something that would relate to getting married or being a bride but of course we're up for anything. We're all in our late 20's early 30's with the exception of the 2 mom's that will be here but they're very young at heart! So something we could relate to would be fun such as 80's, prom, pageant, etc..

Your website is wonderful and I look forward to hearing your ideas or any suggestions you could send my way! This is the first time any of us in the group have been to a murder mystery and of course my first time hosting! :)

As for all-women games, I know of two:

Death by Chocolate is for up to 16 women, but has 5 optional males characters. So it might not have enough characters for you.

Good game for a hen night?

I'm trying to come up with some good ideas for my friends hen weekend. Ten of us, aged mid twenties to mid thirties, are staying in a house in Brighton for the weekend, and I think a murder mystery may be a great was to spend the Friday night. Is there any games in particular you would recommend for a group of women - do you know about 'The Champagne Murders' because I thought it sounded quite good... It is really important that I get this right, because I really want her hen night to be perfect, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think the big problem with 'The Champagne Murders' for a hen night is that it's a game that requires couples - and normally hen parties are a female-only affair!

Instead, I suggest that you check out Death by Chocolate which is an all-female game and suited to hen parties.

All Female Murder Mystery Game?

I am looking for an all female murder mystery game that either takes place in the 20's, and has fun characters, or in the 80's, which also has fun characters. So far I have only been able to find those as female and male games if that. Do you know of any?

The age of the Females participating in this are late teens and early twenties. There will be a total of 8 women, including me. I would like to be as much a part of it as the other women are, and if I would need to have someone help me and act as the host instead of me I have someone who is able to do that. I hope I have provided you with enough information, and that you are able to help me.

I'm afraid I know of very few all-female games - there's Death by Chocolate and Death Bemoans Her.

(The reason that there aren't many all-female games is that murder mystery parties are a niche market - and all-female murder mystery parties are a niche market of a niche market. So there isn't a huge demand for them - and so there isn't a very wide range, I'm afraid.)

Jae, the only game that I know of that suits 8-10 women is Death by Chocolate. However, I don't really know if it's suitable for "church ladies" as the game material does suggest that it's not suitably for very conservative groups.

As I don't know how conservative you are, I suggest you do is take a look at the game and maybe download the preview host guide to see if you think that it's suitable.

I'm looking for an all-girls murder mystery game for 14 year olds and it seems they don't exist. Any ideas?

Ideally it would contain clues the girls would search for and not a huge script. Thanks for any help.

Sorry, I can't think of any murder mystery games (all-girls or not) that don't involve some kind of "script" or background notes to read.

And I'm not aware of any that involve searching for clues, but as that's not really my cup of tea (I prefer the interactive games) I've not searched them out.
