St Cakes - a murder mystery game

How many guests?

Yes, you read that right - up to 200 guests!

I have received a number of enquiries for games larger than 40 players and here, at last, is St. Cakes.

The story

The action takes place at St Cakes School.

While you are invited to the Founder's Day Celebrations you will soon be embroiled in a murder mystery.

You will be in the middle of the action - it will be up to you to scheme and plot against the other guests.

Can you complete the St Cakes Challenge and unmask the murderer?

It's up to you.

St Cakes - an interactive murder mystery game

Set at the St. Cakes school Founder's Day celebration, St. Cakes let's you revisit your childhood and return to school.

Be a swot, a practical joker or head boy. Join in the fun and help solve the murder.

St. Cakes typically runs for about three hours.

It is often played over a meal - a finger buffet if possible to allow guests to circulate and talk in private.

The free introductory pdf file contains a list of the guests, an invitation to send out, a copy of "Cake's News, the school magazine", a list of school glossary - plus details of how to order.

Warning!

Be warned! St. Cakes isn't very family friendly, and the plot involves students and teachers being romantically involved with each other.

So if you think your guests are likely to be offended, please choose a different game!

how ST Cakes works

Unlike most boxed murder mystery games, St. Cakes  lets you decide how you are going to solve the mystery and achieve your objectives.

You will choose who to talk to, and what to ask them.

On the evening, the guests will be met by the organisers (with up to 200 guests, St. Cakes needs two organisers to control the party).

While there are only six main guest characters, everyone else chooses their own name and will be given a team or "house" to belong to.

Each house has its own Head of House, Prefect or Swot - and one of the guests will be the murderer!

Once the fun begins everyone will be questioning and blackmailing each other.

Everyone is trying to find out who the murderer is, but they also have other objectives - and they decide how achieve them!

Everyone has a few clues to help them reveal the identity of the murderer - plus they will also have to complete the annual "St. Cakes Challenge."
