Can the host play a character in Casino Fatale?

I want to host the Casino Fatale murder mystery for my 21st birthday with all of my coworkers, and I had my heart set on this particular game for a while before I realized it wasn't on the list of games that can be played by the host.

Is it possible for me to get help hosting, say I get my sister to take care of the invites and a friend to help explain the rules to everyone the night of the party, so that I can partake in the game as well?

My response:

The ideas you suggest will help - the main difficulty you'll have is that you will need to adjudicate things like the pickpocket rules, which need someone independent. However, it is possible!
