downloading

by Jill

We did one of the murder dinners last year. We bought the kit so it was all in the box. Are the downloaded versions the same? Can I send my guests their characters info via e-mail? The company also had a website in which I could send updates and reminders, plus monitor and track rsvp's- do these games have that?

My response:

Hi - I think you mean you played one of the Dinner and a Murder Mystery Games boxed sets - and yes, their downloadable versions are the same (except that you have to download and print them out yourself).

As for the other games on this site - that depends on the individual publisher. I know that Freeform Games have a system for emailing out invitations (and you can email out their characters), but they don't have the rsvp tracker. And the Murder Mystery Games Ltd games have neither.

But I'm not sure that would sway me - if there was a game that I really liked the look of, the lack of an rsvp tracker wouldn't affect my decision.
