I paid for a game but it is WAY more complicated than I would have liked and there is no way this is going to work for my party. I am looking for a refund. Can you help me?
My response:
You need to get in touch with the publishers of the murder mystery game (I note that you haven't said which one it is, so I can't tell you who to contact).
Their contact details will be in the the game materials you downloaded.
I suggest you give them as many details as you can - name of game, email address used to purchase, when you purchased. That will help them verify that it's a genuine purchase.
Note that as these murder mystery games are downloadable files, there is no obligation on the publishers to offer a refund. However, I know that Freeform Games does offer a refund.

Here's my suggested quick route through the site:
Step 1 - Go to Choosing a Game to choose the game that suits your party best.
Step 2 - Review the Tips for Hosts for helpful advice.
