I am hosting a work holiday party and interested in doing a murder mystery. We will have 35 people, including myself. I am thinking the Hollywood Lies would be a good option because it would probably be the least offensive, if anyone were to get offended.
I saw that you can get some extra characters from the website, since we will have 2 more than suggested.
Questions:
Do you recommend this game?
Will it still work out with 35 people?
How long does it typically take?
Thank you for your help!
My response:
Yes, there are two extra characters available for Hollywood Lies. And yes, I definitely recommend this game - it has a fun team-building element where teams create a little sketch of their next movie.
With 35 people I would expect it to take about 3 hours to play, plus a bit of time before and after (for briefing and debriefing).
