Custom written murder mystery

(Ralf and Rosemary)

We are planning a toga party of guests and spouses that work together in retail. We are expecting about 50 guest and are looking at murdering one of the managers from work. Most guests think they are coming to a toga party only.

We will have a few people who know about the murder game at this party who will participate as suspects. We're not sure if you do this type of writing and would like any feedback you have to offer. We have planned some of the details and will be happy to send them if this is something you can do for us.

My response:

I'm afraid I don't custom-write murder mystery games.

I don't know where you're based, but I suggest you contact one of the professional party organisers who should be able to help you.

I've listed a small number here but if that doesn't help then you can try the Yellow Pages or even Google.

If you don't want to go to that expense, you could purchase a normal murder mystery and examine its structure to work out how you want to proceed. (I can't think of any Roman/Greek murder mysteries unfortunately, so you'd have to pick one from another era.)

Good luck and I wish you well!

Don't know where to start?

Here's my suggested quick route through the site:

Step 1 - Go to Choosing a Game to choose the game that suits your party best.

Step 2 - Review the Tips for Hosts for helpful advice.
