Murder Mystery for Teachers

Hi - I am in charge of a teacher's luncheon next year. Yeah, I plan early and often.
Would love to do Clue/Murder Mystery type theme. I have 65 people to be involved, but I only have 45 minutes . . . can this be done??

Is there a way to provide playing sheets at the table and distribute clues? (via questions answered correctly or drawn from a fishbowl or randomly distributed or projected onto a wall?)

Thanks ! Great site! Jill

My response:

65 people and only 45 minutes to play! Goodness. I wouldn't look at the interactive games because they just won't work, but you might find that you can adapt one of the Mysteries-on-the-Net.

Their mysteries are structured around several witnesses who are then questioned by teams of detectives. In order to do that in 45 minutes, you might need to turn the witnesses into witness statements that the teams can solve.

I know that's not ideal, but apart from creating some sort of puzzle game from scratch, I can't think of much else.

Whatever you decide to do, please let me know how it works out!

I hope that helps,
