I'm trying to chose the best murder mystery party for my Cousin's 40th Birthday Party (at end of May).
He is a fun loving person and we are all open minded people.
I'm looking at around 20-30 people possibly coming to it - we all love dressing up too - the funnier the better. He has always wanted to host a murder party - but I would love to treat him to one for his birthday.
How long do they normally go for in the night? I also live in Australia - do you send games here that I chose to purchase? Or is it all done on-line?
Will I require conversion of US dollars to Australian dollars then? And express freight also?
Am I possibly leaving it too late to organise - allowing for overseas freight etc - it is about 1-3/4 months away?
Many thanks for your help.
PS your website is brilliant - this is the first party I will be hosting and your site is very informative - and I can see myself becoming 'addicted' to these fun-filled parties!!
My response:
Thanks for the kind words about my site - I hope you do become addicted!
Okay, first things first. All the games on the site are available to download - so you can get them straight away and start planning. (This is what I recommend, incidentally - give yourself plenty of time to plan your party.)
As for the overall cost, I've included a currency converter for most of the games - see here for Hollywood Lies. Of course, the actual amount you pay will depend on the rate charged by your credit card.
The games basically last for an evening - about three or four hours (I suggest you allow slightly more for mingling and chatting).
As for which game, all the games are a lot of fun - and the most important thing is to choose the right size of party. You don't want to have too many guests and not enough roles.
I suggest you look through the list on this page and choose the one with the right number of guests that you like the sound of the most.
I hope that helps!

Here's my suggested quick route through the site:
Step 1 - Go to Choosing a Game to choose the game that suits your party best.
Step 2 - Review the Tips for Hosts for helpful advice.
