A Speakeasy Murder with 12 guests

Can I still host A Speakeasy Murder with 12 guests? And just delete three non-essential characters?

My response:

A Speakeasy Murder is designed for 15-32 guests, and the 15 minimum guests are all essential.

It's theoretically possible to run the game with three fewer guests than the minimum, but you will either need guests taking on two roles at once (not really recommended) or you as the host will have to play the part of the three missing guests (also not something I recommend).

I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you try and run A Speakeasy Murder with only 12.

You would be better choosing a game with the correct number of guests - or finding three more friends that you can invite.
