Way out west, remove preacher and add 3 characters.

Really like the sound of Way out West, but wonder if we can run the murder mystery replacing the preacher with another occupation and add in three extra guests, so that a total of 27 people could play the game.

Is the preacher a major player in the mystery?

I'm planning to have it in January, so with preparation and everything I would appreciate it if you coulf let me know as soon as you can.

My response:

Unfortunately the preacher is one of the core characters in Way out West. So rather than remove him completely, you'd probably just need to change him so that he was no longer a preacher (he could be a travelling salesman or something similar). That would be a bit of work, but not impossible. (Freeform Games wouldn't be able to do that for you - but if you ask they will let you have the Word files so that you can make the changes.)

As for the extra three characters, Freeform Games have a number of free extra characters for their games, written by their customers (who get a free game in return). Unfortunately, for Way out West there's just the one so far.

So you'd need to write the two extra characters yourself. I have written a couple of tips on adding your own characters - follow the link below.
